Sosai Mas Oyama, 10th-degree black belt (dan) is the founder of Kyokushin Karate. In 1952 Oyama introduced karate to North America. It has grown to become one of the worlds largest karate organizations with over 12 million members worldwide. Popularized by Mas Oyamas many feats including fighting live bulls, fighting 300 consecutive full contact bouts over three days and emerging undefeated every time from a series of all comers from across the globe.
Masutatsu Oyama is regarded today, as a modern day hero.
Kyokushin Karate is a way of life, a way of living, a lifestyle. Bushido is a code of conduct, where discipline and moral values are of utmost importance. Kyokushin Karate is also a total commitment, discipline, respect, honour and daily manners are all a part of Kyokushin. Living a good life and conforming with morals and principles is the way of Kyokushin Karate.
There are many reasons for kids to become involved in Martial Arts.
We have developed a program based on traditional ways of Karate training. The Karate for Kids system is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes such as goals, self-esteem, courtesy, integrity, confidence, self-awareness, self-control, perseverance, respect and dedication.
This class for adults focuses mainly on intense and revolutionary training.
This will increase your reflexes, sharpen the mind and body, teach many valuable self-defence techniques and finally reduce body fat. Increased endurance and stamina will ultimately improve the way you look and feel.
After learning the basics of Kyokushin Karate, students will begin to demonstrate and sharpen their skills.
Through several training routines including sparring, self-defence techniques, and conditioning. Increased endurance and stamina will ultimately improve the way you look and feel.
